Many of the wrestlers who die young do so by way of the cumulative damage they did with hard drugs earlier - Hennig, Rude, Road Warrior Hawk, Davey Boy Smith come to mind. Eddie was likely clean at the time of his life but he did a lot of damage between about the ages of 20 and 35 to his body with the drugs and he knew that. I have seen a wrestler and valet shooting lines on the way to a promotional appearance. I do feel sorry for Eddie and his family. I think the life style puts you in danger, Some wrestlers take drugs and steroids, which I don't think Eddie did, Also the beatings you take do put extra stress on you. Curt Henning died last year so did Crash Holly.The Bristish Bulldog died a few years back. Road Warrior Hawk died in his home last year. The first wrestling death I remember was David Von Erich, I also remember a few of his brothers who have died while they were active wrestlers Kerry,Mike, and Chris, Dino Bravo and Bruiser Brody were both murdered, Owen Hart Fell to his death, Moondog Spot Died in the ring last year while wrestling in a match in Tennessee. Eddie was just one of the bigger name wrestlers who has died. There have been lots of wrestlers who have died, There are at least 10 wrestlers who die every year some active some retired. I hope I would watch "Raw" tonight in honor of him. The first was Andre the Giant, one of the first WWF (pre-WWE) wrestlers that died along with Owen Hart.
